Barcelona

I deadass don't talk about this project enough. What a crazy experience.

After being part of an extraordinary moment in Lisbon, Portugal, I made my way into Barcelona, Spain. One of the reasons why I wanted to go to Portugal and Spain was to speak Spanish to a certain extent. In fact, the artist that I collaborated with for this project only spoke Spanish. I met Alex in a record shop located in a sketchy alley. I first talked to the owner who introduced me to Alex. Somehow enough was communicated to the point where we met up the next day to not only purchase but begin painting the wall.

The project was carried out for two days both of which was accompanied by a Russian fifteen year old, Cuatro. He was just starting to learn both Spanish and English so there was some difficulty in communication. However, it turned out to be his first time spray painting and he had come out by himself. Alex and I invited him to join which resulted in a collaboration between three individuals with three different languages and three different stages of life.

Beautiful.
