The Grand Opening

Located at the heart of Thayer St. Mala Noodles held it's Grand Opening in collaboration with NOTSODIFFERENT. I had gotten in touch with the owner to pitch the vision of a street performance in the parking lot to draw awareness for both brands.

The empty parking lot became a venue created by the stacking of boxes painted by Aidan Choi and a break platform for dancers to express. We set up during the day in preparation for the performance during the evening. Once the sun set the atmosphere started to pop with over five hundred customers during the window. An audacious experience that began the possibility of further collaborations with restaurants.
