Heng is a Thai food restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island that holds a special place in my heart. They have served as a place for outstanding quality of food as well as a welcoming space that naturally invites a return.

As a Muralist, I am always on the lookout for walls that I believe I will be a good fit for. In doing so, during my visits to new spaces I always attempt to introduce myself as a painter with a casual comment "let me know if you have any walls that need a painting". I spread the seed and with the perfect coincidence, I witness a sprout full of connections.

As Heng was expanding onto the second floor of their original building, they asked me whether I would be interested in painting the interior. I jumped at the opportunity for my first commission which resulted in the creation of a 40 ft wide and 10ft tall paintings.
